Cattail Hearts Recipe

Ingredients

 2 lbs. marrow bones
 1 lb. cattail hearts
 Margarine2 Tablespoon
 Soy sauce3 Tablespoon
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon

Directions

Scoop marrow from bones.
Cook in margarine in frying pan 8 to 10 minutes over medium heat.
Cut cattail hearts into 2" lengths.
Parboil 5 minutes in salted water.
Drain well.
Add to marrow in skillet and saute until hearts are golden brown.
Season with soy sauce and pepper.
