Cassis Ice Cream Recipe
My longing for Cassis Ice Cream strengthened during high school days. It is the perfect choice for Dessert. Fruits is the key ingredient in Cassis Ice Cream. In my estimation, if one calls oneself a good cook, one ought to have a personal recipe of Cassis Ice Cream, just like I do.
Ingredients
4 cups half and half
1 1/4 cups seedless blackberry jam or blackberry preserves
3/4 cup creme de cassis
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons vanilla
Creme de cassis (garnish)
Chopped walnuts (garnish)
Directions
Combine first 5 ingredients in large bowl and whisk until thoroughly blended.
