Casserole Of Pork And Apples Recipe
Ingredients
| Boneless pork loin | 3 Pound, cut into 1.5 inch cubes | |
| Oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Onions/2 onions sliced | 4 , washed and sliced | |
| Green cooking apples | 2 , peeled, cored and sliced | |
| Curry powder/Cumin powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Apple cider | 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs) | |
| White vermouth/Apple brandy | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground black pepper | To Taste |
Directions
Brown the pork in hot oil in a skillet and transfer the cubes to a casserple.
Cook the leeks or onions and apples in the same oil for 3 minutes until softened.
Stir in the cumin or curry powder and cook 1 minute.
Stir in the flour and all the remaining ingredients.
Transfer to a 2-quart glass or ceramic cas serole.
Cover and cook in the microwave oven for 1 hour on "roast" setting.
Rotate the dish one quarter of a turn after 30 minutes.
Allow to rest 10 minutes before serving.
