| Cooking oil | 30 | |
| Oxtail, jointed 900g | ||
| Flour | 50 | |
| Beef Stock | 550 | |
| Carrots | 225 , thinly sliced | |
| Bouquet garni | 1 | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Fry the bacon and onion in the oil.
Dip the oxtail in the flour and fry until browned.
Stir in remaining flour.
Add the stock and bring to the boil.
Add the carrots, bouquet garni and salt and pepper to season.
Transfer to Slow cooker.
Cook for the recommended time.
Remove bouquet garni before serving.
