Ingredients

 Streaky bacon, chopped lOOg
 Onion, finely sliced 1 large
 Cooking oil30
 Oxtail, jointed 900g
 Flour50
 Beef Stock550
 Carrots225 , thinly sliced
 Bouquet garni1
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

Fry the bacon and onion in the oil.
Dip the oxtail in the flour and fry until browned.
Stir in remaining flour.
Add the stock and bring to the boil.
Add the carrots, bouquet garni and salt and pepper to season.
Transfer to Slow cooker.
Cook for the recommended time.
Remove bouquet garni before serving.
