 Cooked ham2 Cup (16 tbs), diced
 2 cups mashed, cooked sweet potatoes
 Nuts3 Tablespoon, chopped
 Salt To Taste

Directions

Heat milk slowly with onion, bay leaf, cloves, and celery; strain.
Melt butter, stir in flour, and gradually add hot milk.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth.
Add ham and salt to taste.
Pour into casserole, top with sweet potatoes, and sprinkle with nut meats.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
