Ingredients
1/2 cup butter or margarine
3 tablespoons blanched slivered almonds
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 tablespoon tarragon vinegar
3 tablespoons sliced green olives
4 small or 2 large halibut steaks
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to temperature of 350 degrees.
MAKING
2) In a saute pan, heat the butter and saute the almonds till the start to color. Add in the vinegar, mustard, olives and 1 tablespoon of water. Stir well for some minutes.
3) In a shallow casserole which has been buttered, arrange the fish and pour the sauce all over it. Cover and cook for about 25 to 30 minutes.
SERVING
4) Serve hot with rice which has been cooked in the chicken broth, French bread and a tomato salad.
