Casserole of Curried Broccoli and Onions Recipe
Ingredients
| Broccoli package | 1 , frozen | |
| Butter/Margarine | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Paprika | 1/4 Teaspoon (Curry powder - 1/2 tsp.) | |
| Cayenne - Dash | ||
| Milk | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Curry powder - 1/2 tsp.) | |
| Sharp process cheese - 1/2 c. grated or shredded | ||
| Onions | 1 Can (10oz) (Curry powder - 1/2 tsp.) | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven to 350°F
2 Lightly grease a 1 1/2 qt casserole.
MAKING
3 As per the package directions, cook broccoli.
4 In a saucepan, melt butter.
5 Add in flour and seasonings.
6 Blend well.
7 Add in milk and cook, stirring constantly, until thick.
8 Add in cheese and stir until melted.
9 Drain the onions well.
10 Combine with the broccoli.
11 Transfer to a greased 1 1/2 qt casserole.
12 Pour the sauce over vegetables.
13 Bake for 20 minutes.
SERVING
14 Serve hot.
