Cashew Brittle Recipe
Ingredients
3/4 cup honey
1/4 cup water
1 cup raw cashews
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon soda
Directions
In an iron skillet, boil the honey and water until it forms a soft ball when dropped into cold water or reaches 234° F.
Add nuts and continue to boil until golden brown, about 10 to 12 minutes, stirring continuously.
Remove from heat and add butter, vanilla, and soda.
Mix well, then pour onto a greased cookie sheet.
When cool, break into pieces.
