Carrots With Pistachio Nuts Recipe
Ingredients
| Carrots | 2 Pound, thinly sliced | |
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Juice of 1/2 lemon | ||
| Butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 1/4 cup shelled pistachio nuts | ||
| Grand marnier | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Combine carrots with water and lemon juice in a large skillet.
Bring to a boil.
Cover.
Cook 10-15 minutes or until tender.
Drain.
Meanwhile, melt butter in a small skillet.
Add pistachio nuts.
Saute for 3 minutes.
Pour over cooked carrots along with Grand Marnier.
Saute, tossing gently for 5 minutes, or until carrots are glazed.
Season with salt and pepper.
