Carrots Madeira Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 pounds carrots, scraped and cut into julienne sticks
1/4 cup Madeira wine
1 teaspoon salt
6 sprigs fresh parsley, minced
1/8 teaspoon dried tarragon leaves
Directions
Combine butter, carrots, wine, and salt in a heavy saucepan.
Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes or until carrots are tender.
Drain well; sprinkle with parsley and tarragon.
