Carrots Chinese Style Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 tbs oil or 1 tbs butter plus 1 tbs oil | ||
| Carrots | 3 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Water or chicken broth | 3 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Heat wok on high heat 15 to 30 seconds.
Add oil and swirl around the edges.
Add carrots, sugar and salt.
Stir-fry 1 minute to coat the vegetables.
Add water or broth and cover.
Steam-cook 5 minutes or until crisp-tender.
Uncover and stir.
Remove from heat.
Sprinkle with soy sauce if you wish.
