Ingredients

 2 tbs oil or 1 tbs butter plus 1 tbs oil
 Carrots 3 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced
 Sugar1 Teaspoon
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Water or chicken broth3 Tablespoon

Directions

Heat wok on high heat 15 to 30 seconds.
Add oil and swirl around the edges.
Add carrots, sugar and salt.
Stir-fry 1 minute to coat the vegetables.
Add water or broth and cover.
Steam-cook 5 minutes or until crisp-tender.
Uncover and stir.
Remove from heat.
Sprinkle with soy sauce if you wish.
