Carrots And Peas Recipe
Ingredients
1 pound baby carrots, peeled
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter
3 tablespoons cream
3 cups hot cooked green peas
1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
Directions
Place the carrots in a saucepan, add salt and water to cover.
Bring to a simmer, cover the pan and cook slowly for 20 to 30 minutes or until carrots are tender.
Drain and add butter and cream.
Toss until the carrots are coated and gleaming.
Place the peas in the center of a serving dish and surround with the carrots.
Sprinkle with parsley.
