Ingredients

 
3 Cups grated carrot
 
2 Medium sized tomato
 
2 Cloves garlic
 
2 Tsp. oil
 
1 Large onion (chopped)
 
2 Cups milk
 
1/2 Cup curd (optional)
 
Salt and pepper to taste
 
Kothmir and cream for garnish

Directions

Cook the carrots in a heavy pan with very little water.
Cook till soft.
Mash.
Peel tomatoes after plunging into boiling water and chop.
Saute tomatoes in oil with onion and garlic and mash till they are soft allow it to boil and remove from fire immediately Add mashed carrots and liquidise in a mixer.
Gradually add milk.
Allow it to boil and remove from fire.
Season and serve in bowls, topped with cream and sprinkled with chopped kothmir.
