Carrot Jelly Recipe
Jelly is a favorite with almost all kids. Now you can give you kids a tasty yummy jelly treat. This carrot jelly lets you master the nuances of making jelly at home. Ingredients
4 c. carrots, ground
3 c. orange juice
2 c. crushed pineapple
10 c. sugar
2 c. powdered pectin
Directions
Boil carrots with orange juice until soft; add pine- apple.
Pour half the mixture into large kettle.
Add 5 cups sugar; bring to a rolling boil.
Boil, stirring con- stantly, for 5 minutes.
Add 1 cup pectin; bring to a rolling boil for 1 minute.
Remove from heat; skim.
Pour into sterilized jars; seal with paraffin.
Repeat procedure.
