Carrot Raisin Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Raisins | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cider vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Pineapple tidbits-1 (8-ounce) can, unsweetened, undrained | ||
| Ground cinnamon -Dash | ||
| Ground nutmeg - Dash | ||
| Carrots -3/4 pound, scraped and coarsely shredded | ||
Directions
MAKING
1)In a small bowl mix raisins and vinegar and keep it aside for 30 minutes.
2)Drain by keeping raisins aside and reserving vinegar.
3)Drain pineapple by reserving 1/4 cup juice.
4)Mix 1/4 cup pineapple juice, reserved vinegar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
FINALIZING
5)Toss it with raisins, pineapple, and carrots. 6)Chill the salad.
SERVING
7)Serve it chilled.
