Carol's Sausage Concoction Recipe
Ingredients
| Bread slice | 6 , dried | |
| Country sausage | 1 Pound | |
| 6 thick slices onion | ||
| American, Roman or Parmesan cheese, grated | ||
| Mashed potatoes made into 6 cakes | ||
Directions
Arrange the bread slices (any desired kind) in large buttered baking disli or small roaster.
Make sausage into 6 cakes; fry on both sides until slightly browned.
Place the meat cakes on bread slices.
Lay onion slices on top of sausage cakes, a potato cake on top of the onion.
Over this pour a thick Spanish sauce.
Sprinkle with cheese and bake in moderate oven (375 degrees) for 45 minutes.
