Carolina Style Grits Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 cup quick-cooking grits | ||
| Water | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Sharp cheddar cheese | 8 Ounce, shredded | |
| 3 tsp low-calorie margarine | ||
| Dash Tabasco sauce | ||
Directions
Stir grits into saucepan of boiling salted water.
Cook on low heat for 5 minutes, stirring often.
Pour into well-greased casserole.
Add remaining ingredients.
Stir until margarine melts.
Cover and bake at 325°F (165°C) for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
