Carolina Barbecue Recipe
Ingredients
| Boston butt | 1 | |
| Vegetable oil | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Tomato sauce | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Packed brown sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cider vinegar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Celery seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Chili powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Black pepper salt | 1 To taste | |
| Hot pepper sauce | 1 Dash |
Directions
Randomly pierce roast with sharp knife. In Dutch oven, brown roast on all sides in hot oil. In mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour sauce over roast and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 2 hours or until roast is fork-tender. Baste roast with sauce during cooking time. Slice or chop to serve.
