Carob Fondue With Strawberries Recipe

1 cup heavy cream, divided
 
1 tablespoon cornstarch
 
1/4 cup Basic Carob Syrup
 
1/4 cup honey
 
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
 
4 cups fresh strawberries (other fresh fruit chunks may be substituted)

Directions

In a cup, mix together 1/4 cup heavy cream and cornstarch until cornstarch is dissolved.
Stir together in a small saucepan cornstarch mixture, 3/4 cup heavy cream, carob syrup, and honey.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until fondue thickens, about 5 minutes.
Add vanilla extract.
