Carob Balls Recipe

3 tablespoons carob powder, sifted
 
2 tablespoons honey
 
1 tablespoon powdered instant coffee
 
1 tablespoon butter
 
1/2 cup dry milk powder
 
1/3 cup almond paste or 1 teaspoon almond extract
 
1 teaspoon cinnamon
 
1 teaspoon carob powder, sifted

Directions

In a small saucepan, mix carob, honey, and coffee.
Place over low heat until well blended, stirring constantly (about 5 minutes).
Remove from heat.
Add butter, milk powder, and almond paste or extract.
Work together into a smooth paste.
Shape into small balls.
Chill.
When firm, roll in mixture of cinnamon and carob.
Store in refrigerator.
