Ingredients

 Jam roll or cake, 400 gms
 Milk2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Custard powder2 Tablespoon
 Sugar, 4 to 5 tablespoons
 Vanilla1/2 Teaspoon
 Gelatine envelope1
 Walnuts2 Tablespoon, chopped
 Jelly package1
 Pineapple rings, small size, 4
 Cherries
 Chopped fruits, 2 cups
 Cream or top of milk, 1/2 cup

Directions

Make custard sauce out of milk, sugar and custard powder.
Chill.
Prepare jelly according to directions.
Put four tablespoons jelly in a flat aluminium round box and allow to set.
Then arrange pineapple slices and cherries on it and pour six tablespoons more jelly mixture.
Again allow to set.
Slice jam roll or cake 1/3 inch thick.
Cut a few pieces into very small cubes.
Add vanilla and cream to custard sauce.
Dissolve gelatine in 4 tablespoons boiling water and mix with the custard sauce and beat well.
Chill until partially set.
Add chopped walnuts, fruits and cake cubes.
Arrange jam roll or cake slices around sides of the mould.
Pour the custards mixture in the mould.
Allow it to set for four hours.
Unmould just before serving.
