Carne Asada Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 pounds flank or boneless sirloin tip steak | ||
| Lime juice | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Garlic | 6 Clove (5gm), chopped | |
| Ground black pepper | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| 1 large green bell pepper, cut lengthwise into 1-inch strips | ||
| Corn tortillas | 8 , warmed | |

Directions
Combine steak, lime juice, garlic and black pepper in large heavy-duty resealable freezer bag; seal.
Refrigerate overnight, turning at least once.
Preheat broiler.
Remove steak from bag and place on broiler pan.
Sprinkle with salt to taste.
Add bell pepper to same bag; seal.
Turn to coat with marinade; set aside.
Broil steak 5 to 7 minutes per side or until well-browned, turning once.
Add bell pepper to broiler pan; broil until softened.
Transfer steak to cutting board; slice across the grain into thin strips.
Place steak on warm tortillas.
Top with bell pepper and salsa.
