Caramel Cream Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients
1 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg yolk
2 1/4 c. flour
Directions
1. Cream butter very well.
2. Gradually cream in the firmly packed brown sugar.
3. Blend in the egg yolk.
4. Gradually blend in the flour. Stir until mixture forms a dough. Chill.
5. Shape into balls the size of a marble.
6. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, and flatten with the bottom of a glass, dipped in flour.
7. Mark a design by pressing with a fork one way.
8. Bake at 325°, 10-12 minutes. Cool.
9. Place flat sides of 2 cookies together with frosting.
