Carefree Drop Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
1 package (about 18 ounces) yellow cake mix
1 cup peanut butter
2 eggs
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/3 cup water
2 cups ready-to-eat rice cereal
1 cup raisins
Directions
1. Combine half the package of cake mix with peanut butter, eggs, butter or margarine and water in large bowl of electric mixer.
2. Beat with mixer at high speed for 2 minutes. Stir in remaining cake mix, rice cereal and raisins with a wooden spoon until well blended and smooth. Drop by teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto cookie sheets.
3. Bake in moderate oven (375°) 10 minutes, or until golden. Remove carefully to wire racks with spatula. Cool completely.
