Cardinal Beet Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 can shoestring beets | ||
| 1 pkg. lemon gelatin | ||
| Boiling water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| White vinegar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 2 tbsp. onion juice or grated onion | ||
| Celery | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Horseradish | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Drain beets, reserving 3/4 cup juice.
Dis solve gelatin in boiling water; add mixture of beet juice and vinegar.
Cool.
Add remaining ingredients; pour into mold or square pan.
Chill until firm.
