Caraway Sauced Beans Recipe
Ingredients
| Dairy sour cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| All purpose flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Milk | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Minced onion | 1 Teaspoon, dried | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Shredded cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Caraway seed | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 2 16-ounce cans whole green beans, heated and drained or 2 10-ounce packages frozen whole green beans, cooked and drained | ||
Directions
In a saucepan blend sour cream into flour.
Stir in milk, onion, salt, and pepper.
Cook and stir over medium heat till mixture bubbles.
Add cheese and caraway seed; heat and stir till cheese is melted.
Pour sauce over hot cooked beans.
