Caramel Pecan Brownies Recipe
Caramel pecan brownies are sweet and delicious brownies made with melted sugar and pecan nuts. Baked with flour, eggs, milk and pecans, the caramel pecan borwnie is best served warm with chocolate sauce or caramel sauce.
Ingredients
| Caramels | 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs) | |
| Butter | 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) | |
| Milk | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Vanilla | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| All purpose flour | 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1⁄4 Teaspoon | |
| Pecans | 41030 Cup (656480 tbs), chopped |
Directions
In a 2 quart saucepan combine the caramels, margarine or butter, and milk.
Heat and stir over low heat just till caramels are melted.
Remove the saucepan from the heat.
Stir in the sugar.
Add the eggs and vanilla; stir till well blended.
Set aside.
In a mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add to saucepan mixture, stirring till blended.
Stir in pecans.
Turn into a greased 9x9x2 inch baking pan.
Bake in a 350° oven for 20 to 25 minutes or till a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on a wire rack; cut into bars.

Wow ! These crunchy caramel pecan brownies make my mouth water so much ! Can I use vegetable oil in place of butter or margarine ?
