Caramel Pecan Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

 
1/3 cup butter
 
2/3 cup pecans, chopped
 
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
 
1 1/4 cups heavy cream

Directions

In a saucepan, over moderate heat, melt butter.
While stirring, roast pecans around 7 minutes or until they turn a light golden brown.
Stir in brown sugar and cream.
Over low heat, simmer 3 minutes or so, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Let cool slightly.
