Caramel Corn Candy Recipe
Ingredients
| Corn | 8 Quart, popped | |
| Salted peanuts | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Light corn syrup | 1./2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Brown sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs), firmly packed | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Baking soda | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Maple Flavoring - 1 teaspoon | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) Into a large mixing bowl, combine the popped corn and the peanuts
2) Mix together the butter, corn syrup, sugar and salt
3) Place them into a saucepan and bring to a boil
3) Simmer at low heat for about 5 minutes, taking care to stir continuously
4) Take off from the heat and stir in the soda and the vanilla extract, maple syrup
5) Pour this over the popcorn and peanuts and toss to coat well
6) Into a jelly roll pans, spoon the mixture of the capacity 15 x 10 x 1 inch capacity
7) Bake for 1 hour at 250 F stirring once in a while
8) Once baked take out from the oven and allow to cool again taking care to stir once in a while
9) Once completely cooled store in airtight container

9) Serve into a large bowl and it is served best while watching a movie or watching a game with friends or family
