Caramel Brownies Recipe
Ingredients
1 pkg. caramels, unwrapped
1/2 c. canned evaporated milk
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°.
Melt caramels and 1/3 cup milk in microwave 1 minute.
Stir 1 minute until smooth.
Grease and flour 9 x 13 inch dripper pan.
By hand, mix cake mix, 1/3 cup milk and butter (no eggs or water); it will be stiff.
Pour 1/2 cake mix in pan.
Bake 6 minutes.
Take out.
Put on layer of chocolate chips, layer of melted caramel, then spoon rest of cake mix on top.
Bake 15-18 minutes.
