Capsicum in Curds Recipe
Ingredients
| Capsicums - 250 grams, cut finely | ||
| Curds | 1 Cup (16 tbs), beaten | |
| Turmeric powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cumin seeds | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Garam masala | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Asafoetida - a pinch | ||
| Coconut | 1 Small | |
| Green chillies | 2 | |
| Ginger | 1 | |
| Handful of corriander leaves | ||
| Jaggery | 1 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1. In a bowl dilute curds with half cup water.
2. In a skillet heat 2 tablespoon oil and toss in asafoetida and cumin seeds.
3. When seeds stop spluttering, add ground coconut, chillies, ginger.
4. Combine the mixture till completely mixed.
5. Add capsicum and fry till light red.
6. Add curds, all spices and salt.
7. Seal with a lid tightly till capsicums are tender.
8. Add jaggery and cook with gravy is thick.
SERVING
9. Serve garnished with coriander leaves.
