Capellini With Tomatoes And Basil Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 lb. thin pasta (angel hair, capellini, spaghettini)
 
1 1/2 lbs. chopped tomatoes (preferably Roma)
 
1 clove crushed garlic
 
6 leaves chopped basil (1 tsp. dry)
 
Salt and pepper to taste
 
1/2 cup olive oil
 
2 tbsp. olive oil
 
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Directions

Cook in boiling water until al dente (firm to the bite).
Drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, prepare sauce.
Combine in bowl.
Heat in large saucepan.
Add above tomato mixture and heat thoroughly.
Add pasta and toss until mixture is hot and well-combined.
