Cantonese Sausage Recipe
This Cantonese Sausage is a prime mealtime attraction for me ! This sausage steamed over rice tastes incredible ! Just try out the Cantonese Sausage and tell me if you like it ! Your suggestions for this fabulous dish are welcome !
Ingredients
1 cup rice
2 cups water
1/2 pound sausage
Directions
Wash the rice in 2 rinses of water and place in a saucepan.
Add 2 scant cups of cold water and bring to a boil.
Lower the heat, cover pan and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the water is all absorbed.
Place the Chinese sausage on top of the rice and allow to steam for 15 minutes, until ready to serve.
Slice the sausage diagonally, 1/8 inch thick, and serve hot or at room temperature on a shallow dish.
