Cantonese Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 pound pork tenderloin, cut in thin 1/2-inch strips | ||
| 1/2 cup thin sliced green pepper | ||
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Shortening | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Bean sprouts | 1 pound, drained | |
| 10 1/2-ounce can cream of mushroom soup | ||
| Tomato sauce | 8 Ounce | |
| Vinegar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Celery salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Cooked rice | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Brown pork, green pepper and onion in shortening in large skillet.
Stir in remaining ingredients except rice and butter.
Simmer, covered, 25 to 30 minutes until meat is tender.
Prepare rice; add butter.
Arrange on serving platter or in serving dish; pour meat mixture in center.
