Canterbury Apples Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 large tart apples | ||
| 1/4 cup small curd cottage cheese | ||
| Raisins | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Brown sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Remove the cores from apples and make a cut around the middle of each apple.
Place in a greased, shallow ovenproof dish.
Blend together the curd cheese, sultanas (raisins), half the sugar and the cinnamon.
Use the mixture to fill the centres of the apples.
Sprinkle with the remaining sugar.
Cook in a preheated moderate oven (180°C/350°F, Gas Mark 4) for 1 hour.
Serve hot.
