Directions
Bring to a boil over high heat; boil for 2 minutes.
Turn off the heat and skim off the foam.
Transfer the syrup to a bowl; chill in the freezer or refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Cut the rind from the cantaloupe and quarter it.
Then cut each quarter into 1/2" slices.
Discard the cinnamon sticks.
Pour the syrup over the slices just before serving.
