Cantaloupe Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients
| One 2- to 2 1/2-pound cantaloupe | ||
| Orange juice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Honey | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/4 cup curacao (orange liqueur), optional | ||
Directions
Seed, peel, and dice the melon.
Puree it in a food processor; when the texture is very fine, add the remaining ingredients.
Chill.
There are three ways to serve this delicious drink: undiluted, over ice in "old-fashioned" cocktail glasses; in tall glasses, mixed half-and-half with chilled soda water; or, if there's some cause for celebration, in stemmed goblets, topped off with Asti spumante (an Italian sparkling wine).
