Ingredients

 Butter1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 All purpose flour1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sugar1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1 Pinch
 Eggs3 , Well beaten
 Black walnuts1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Molasses1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Vanilla1 1/2 Teaspoon
 Confectioners' sugar

Directions

Work butter until soft, then gradually work in the sugar until mixture is well blended.
Beat in eggs, molasses, and vanilla.
Mix in flour thoroughly.
Add pinch of salt, then the nuts.
Pour into a greased 11 1/4 X 7 1/2 X l 1/2 inch baking pan and bake in a preheated 350° oven for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out dry.
Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and cut into thin fingers when cold.
