Candy Apples Recipe
Ingredients
| Red Apples - 6 | ||
| Skewers - 6 | ||
| Sugar | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Light corn syrup | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vinegar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Red Coloring - 6-8 drops | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) Under running water, wash the apples and take off the stems
2) Skewer the wooden stem into the end of each apple and keep aside
3) Into a saucepan mix together the sugar, water, light corn syrup and vinegar
4) Cook over a medium heat
5) Take off from heat and stir in the coloring
6) Dip in the skewer apples to coat evenly and allowing the excess to drip off
7) Place the coated apples onto a greased wax sheet to rest
SERVING
8) Place the apples onto a serving platter to serve
