Candy Apple Pie Recipe
|Unsweetened apple juice||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs), divided|
|Cinnamon candies||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Red food coloring||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Apples||4 , peeled, cored and sliced (Granny Smith, Rome Beauty Or McIntosh)|
|Graham cracker pie crust||1 (KeeblerÂ® Ready CrustÂ®)|
|Frozen whipped topping||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), thawed (Light)|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄2 Teaspoon|

Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer just until apples are tender, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Combine remaining 1/4 cup juice and cornstarch in small bowl.
Stir into apple mixture; continue to cook until mixture boils and thickens.
Cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
Remove from heat; cool to room temperature.
Spoon apple filling into pie crust.
Refrigerate several hours or until filling is set.
