Ingredients

| All purpose flour | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Cornstarch | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Ice water | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Bananas | 3 | |
| Oil | 6 Cup (16 tbs) (For frying) | |
| Vegetable oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
Beat egg slightly in a small bowl.
Add flour, cornstarch, salt and ice water.
Mix to a smooth batter and set aside.
Peel bananas and slice each one diagonally into 5 or 6 pieces.
Heat 6 cups oil in a wok over high heat to 350°F (175°C).
Reduce heat to medium.
Dip banana pieces in batter and carefully lower into hot oil with a slotted metal spoon.
Fry 15 to 30 seconds until lightly browned.
Remove with slotted spoon, draining well over wok; set aside.
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a small saucepan over medium heat 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Add sugar; mix well.
Cook until thickened to a syrup.
Remove from heat.
Add fried bananas and mix lightly to coat.
