Cinnamon Candied Apple Rings Recipe

| Sugar | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/3 cup red cinnamon candies | ||
| Whole cloves | ||
| Firm apples, peeled and cored and sliced crosswise in 1/2 in rings | ||
Directions
Make syrup in a fry pan.
Cook the apple slices in syrup turning often until tender and transparent.
Remove to a deep platter with slotted spoon.
Pour remaining syrup over apples.
