Canapes D Amour Recipe
Ingredients
| 3 slices of wholewheat bread | ||
| Butter | 25 Gram, softened | |
| Smoked salmon | 100 Gram | |
| Cream cheese | 50 Gram | |
| Lemon juice | 1/2 Teaspoon, squeezed | |
| Ground black pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Cucumber | 12.5 Gram, skinned | |
| 1 punnet of mustard and cress, to decorate canapes | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1) Lightly toast and butter the bread, trim off the bread crusts.
2) In a liquidizer, blend together the salmon, cream cheese, lemon juice, salt and black pepper; stir in the finely diced cucumber, into the salmon mixture.
FINALIZING
3) Cut out heart shapes from the toast with a cutter; spoon in the salmon mixture on to the toast.
SERVING
4) Garnish with mustard or cress on each heart shape and serve immediately.
