Canadian Chop Suey Recipe

Ingredients
2 strips bacon (diced)
4 green peppers (diced)
2 large onions (diced)
1 lb. round steak (cubed)
1 small shredded cabbage
3 or 4 stalks celery (diced)
2 tbs. soy sauce
2 tbs. molasses
2 cups tomatoes
Salt and pepper
Little water if needed
Directions
Heat skillet.
Lightly brown bacon, add onions, peppers and brown.
Then add meat and cook till all are well browned.
Season with salt and pep per.
Place in a large casserole.
Add cabbage, celery, soy sauce, molasses and tomatoes.
Cover tightly and bake 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 300-350 F.
