Canadian Green Beans Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 lb. fresh green beans, French-cut, or 9-oz. pkg. frozen beans | ||
| Boiling water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 tbsp. diet margarine | ||
| 1/2 cup finely diced | ||
| Canadian bacon | ||
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1 tomato, cut in wedges | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. Cook the fresh/frozen green beans in water till tender and drain it well
2 In a nonstick skillet, melt maragrine and saute bacon and garlic in it until brown
3. Add beans, salt and pepper it and top with tomato wedges; cover and cook till heated through
SERVING
4. Serve as required
