Ingredients

 
1 can chicken with rice soup
 
1 can cream of chicken soup
 
1 sm. can evaporated milk
 
1 white onion, finely chopped
 
1 sm. can or jar cooked chicken
 
1 3 oz. can chow mein noodles
 
1 sm. can sliced mushrooms
 
1 sm. can sliced water chestnuts
 
1/2 c. crushed cornflakes
 
1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar or Parmesan cheese

Directions

Mix soups together in a large bowl; add milk and onion.
Blend well.
Add chicken, chow mein noodles, mushrooms and water chestnuts.
Stir carefully not to crush.
Pour into a buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Top with the crushed corn flakes.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
