Camper's Rice Fry Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 tablespoons bacon drippings or butter | ||
| Mushrooms | 1 Can (10oz), sliced | |
| 1/2 cup sliced green onions, including tops | ||
| Celery leaves | 1 /4 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Beef package | 1 , smoked | |
| Chicken stock | ||
| Soy sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 2 cups Brand Rice | ||
| Egg | 1 , Well beaten | |
Directions
In a large skillet, heat bacon drippings or butter.
Drain mushrooms; reserve liquid.
Add onions, celery and leaves, mushrooms and beef.
Sauted 3 minutes.
Add enough chicken stock to mushroom liquid to make 1-2/3 cups.
Bring to a vigorous boil.
Add soy sauce and rice.
Cover.
Simmer until all liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes.
Uncover.
Add egg and stir until egg is cooked.
