Ingredients

 
7 oz thinly sliced onions
 
2 tbsp vinegar
 
1/2 tsp sugar
 
Salt
 
Pepper
 
9 oz calves liver, cut into 1/4 in (5 mm) strips

Directions

Put the onions in a dish and add 2 tablespoons (1 tablespoon) of water.
Microwave, uncovered, for 5 minutes on HIGH.
When the onions are tender, add the vinegar, sugar and salt and pepper to taste.
Mix well.
Arrange the strips of liver on top of the onions.
Cover and microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes.
Stir the mixture.
Cover and leave to stand for 1 minute .
