California Lemon Cake Recipe
Ingredients
Grease a 9 x 12 pan. Flour lightly.
Mix one 3 oz. pkg. lemon jello 1 yellow cake mix (no pudding)
Add 3/4 c. water, and stir
Add 4 eggs, one at a time, beating at low speed
Add 3/4 c. vegetable oil dash of salt
Mixture:
2 c. icing sugar 1/3 c. lemon juice
Directions
Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes
Bake at 350° for 45 minutes
Cool in pan 10 minutes
Prick cake evenly with a fork, then pour over a mixture of 2 c. icing sugar 1/3 c. lemon juice
