Calf's Brains Appetizer Recipe
Ingredients
| Vinegar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
| Calf's brains | 2 | |
| Lemon juice | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Onions | 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), finely chopped | |
| Kosher salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1⁄4 Teaspoon |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a saucepan, add the vinegar, water and salt
2) Bring the liquids to a boil
3) Add the brains and cook for 25 minutes
4) Drain the brain into a colander and allow to cool
5) Using a sharp knife, chop the brains, onion, oil, pepper and lemon juice
6) Place the ingredients in a bowl, cling wrap and chill in the refrigerator
SERVING
7) Serve the dish with crackers or toasted bread
